We gave a party as a homework last week. Yes, we gave a lot
of times before, but this time was for my homework. How lucky I am. JIt should be an English
party and I am kind of lucky because I am an Erasmus student here and we have a
lot of friends from around the world and
we talk in English of course. We were about ten people and we played some games
all night, but the funniest one was taboo. Because some people were playing it
for the first time and they liked it, too. First of all we played charades. In
the beginning, we split up into two groups and we chose about 20 movies per
group. Since it is a kind of game in
which you are not allowed to speak we didn't use English that much. But then we
got bored and started to play taboo. In this game there are cards on which one
main word is written, and there some more which are forbidden to use and you try
to explain the main word without using the taboo words in half and a minute. You
should use the words wisely and make your group guess the word. It really helps
you improve your English because you should be fast and understandable to win.
We really enjoyed that night and we laughed
a lot. It was one of the best night in Erasmus.
