I am going to tell you a yikes moment of mine. It was a very
unfortunate moment and I can’t forget that day. Last year, I had a boyfriend
and we were studying universities in different cities. It was a long distance
relationship and we were living in the same city. It was a midterm break and we
were going to our hometowns. I bought my ticket and got there already. He was
supposed to the same thing. He bought a plane ticket and went a long way to the
airport. He went in there a few hours earlier so he started to wait. When the
plane time came, he looked at the screen displaying plane times, but there was
something wrong, he couldn't find his plane on the screen. Then he went to the
information of the airways he found out there was no plane at that time and he
bought a ticket the opposite way. The ticket was from our hometown to the city
where he was studying. So he had to go back to his dorm and I was very excited and
waiting for him. But when I heard what happened, it was a big disappointment of
course and it costed him a lot of money because he bought a new plane ticket
for the next day. Maybe it was just one more day, but when you miss someone so
much it seems like a big deal for you and you also feel sorry for him. Anyways,
he finally made it and a happy ending J
